Wet and Wild!

 Mixed Media Workshop

  June 22-23, July 20-21, 2019, 9-4 pm

Are you ready to get bold and loose with your art?
Awaken your creative spirit at Shirley’s fabulous and fun workshops. Learn new techniques with acrylics and/or watercolour. We will experiment with poured paint and use hardware store materials and melted textiles.

By layering, gelling, stamping and collage you will amaze yourself creating stunning underpainting or abstractions. Shirley will show you easy ways to turn these into luscious representational works if you wish.  As a fully trained artist representative of one of Canada’s major producers of artist quality paints, she will simplify the confusing array of acrylic mediums and grounds for both watercolour and acrylics. There will be plenty of helpful demonstrations and personalized coaching.

Workshops are suitable for beginner to advanced artists.

Workshops are limited to 8 participants.

Fee is $200.00 for the two-days
Includes the primary paint colours and selected other supplies.

Registration by mail: send a $200.00 cheque to Shirley Mancino at 68 Rebecca Lane, Westport ON K0G 1X0. Or by e-transfer if you do online banking or Paypal.

NB: If you need to cancel for whatever reason, there is no charge if you notify us a minimum of 21 days in advance of the start date. After that date, there will be no refund.

Workshop Location: Workshops take place in Shirley’s stunning lakeside studio in Westport. Enjoy the wonderful scenery, shopping, and hiking – a truly breathtaking destination. Great B & B’s are a short walk away.
